A Perfect Day–Baptisms in Moses Lake!

2015-7-18 Baptism Lloyd, Jasmine, Bill, Elizabeth (6)

Bringing others to Christ–that’s why we’re here!  Today was pretty perfect for our friends and missionaries in Moses Lake.  Elders Oliver and Krogue have been teaching Lloyd and Jasmine and their little girl.  Today they entered the waters of baptism, along with Jasmine’s sister, Elizabeth and her husband, Bill, taught by Elders Decker and Shoenberger.

When these sisters phoned their brother in Arizona this week to tell him they have been meeting with the missionaries, he said, “I have been too!!”  When they told their brother they would be baptized today, he said, “I will be too!!”  Oh my!  What a beautiful day for their family.  It was a joy to be there with them.  Their lives will never be the same–this is the beginning of something wonderful! 2015-7-18 Baptism Lloyd, Jasmine, Bill, Elizabeth (8) 2015-7-18 Baptism Lloyd, Jasmine, Bill, Elizabeth (10) 2015-7-18 Baptism Lloyd, Jasmine, Bill, Elizabeth (12) 2015-7-18 Baptism Lloyd, Jasmine, Bill, Elizabeth (13)

We also attended the baptism of Connie, a delightful woman who has been meeting with Elders Haymond, Heilbut and Jarvis.  A large group of ward members welcomed these new members into their wards.  What a happy day in our new Yakima Mission! 2015-7-18 Connie Johnson Baptism (3) 2015-7-18 Connie Johnson Baptism (5)
