Twisp and Omak have Evacuated, Missionaries are Safe

2015-8-20 Fire map 1

We had a phone call late last night after returning home from Elders Guthrie and Gleed who were doing splits in Omak.  They were being evacuated, so they and Elders Mendoza and Jeffs got out of town, and went to stay with the Elders in Ephrata.  This morning we hear that there are 40 mph winds, and it’s not quite safe to return.  The fire in Omak didn’t come into town, but one member home in the country may have been lost.

Take a look at the map above.  Amazing.2015-8-19 Fruit Stand (21)
