Our Very First P-Day: Road Trip!

2015-10-6 Quincy (12)My Dad and his wife, Kris are here in town for the week.  We’ve taken our first P-Day!  We took them on a road trip around parts of the mission and saw a few things we haven’t seen yet.  In 12 hours, we drove from Yakima to the Ginko Petrified Forest State Park in Vantage, then across the Columbia River and up to Quincy where we watched some apple picking, then to Wenatchee for lunch, then up through Cashmere to Leavenworth where we spent a couple of hours, then back to Wenatchee and home through the mountains down to Ellensburg arriving home again well after dark.  I’ll make a separate post for each interesting place along the way. For now, here’s the map and a bit of Fall flavor from a fruit stand near Quincy.
