Thanksgiving 2015 at the Mission Home

2015-11-26 Thanksgiving (2)We’ve had a lovely quiet day here at the Mission Home, celebrating Thanksgiving and feeling grateful for our blessings.  This afternoon we sat down to a Thanksgiving feast for two!

I spent the day setting out some of the Nativities we brought from home, hanging a few Christmas quilts, preparing our meal and working on the next Mission Newsletter.  Pres. Lewis put up a few little trees with lights and he figured out some electrical things in the basement so now we have surround sound down there.  We are also still working on transfer planning and made some good progress.

Tonight we relaxed and watched a movie–the new Disney Cinderella.  We are so grateful to be here, with so many friends and missionaries surrounding us.  Our hearts are full.

I am happy to hear that you had an enjoyable Thanksgiving. It looks wonderful! I am always amazed at all you do. Makes me wish I was out there on a mission with you to share in all your wonderful happenings. Those missionaries are very blessed to have you and your sweet husband there to serve them. Can’t wait to see all your cute Christmas touches around the mission home! Hugs!
