One of the best parts of our day with the new missionaries is inviting them to go out with the local Elders and Sisters. They plunge right into the work here for about 2 hours, then return and report on their experiences. It’s so fun.
Here are the missionaries arriving and meeting their new companions for the afternoon:
After they all returned, we met together and shared all the fun experiences each had with each other. The older missionaries stayed and afterwards we did some really fun role plays where the new missionaries got to be the investigators (like the ones they met today) and the the older missionaries knocked at their doors and demonstrated different ways of approaching each new contact.
We had a great afternoon and everyone stayed awake!
