We dropped in on the 2 Zone activity at the Selah Stake Center this afternoon. What was our clue that we were in the right place? See these cars all lined up so they wouldn’t have to back out? That’s how missionaries park! These 2 zones met today for some serious game playing–Scatter ball, basketball and volleyball. This is the first time lots of these missionaries have met. So fun to be together! Scatter ball is like dodge ball times ten. Lots of balls, many are pretty flat. If you get hit you go down. If you can intercept a ball and hit someone else, you get back up. If the person who took you down goes down, you’re up. You can’t run with the ball (like traveling) but you can throw it at a wall and run to catch it somewhere else down the way. Everyone is up and down and up and down and jumping and dodging and laughing and getting even. It was really fun to watch. Everyone is involved all the time. It’s pretty crazy.
Mama Jimenez, be so proud your son is still practicing!Kneeling in prayer at the end of the activity. Where in the world do you find such good young men and young women???There are more photos from today in an album on our Facebook page.
