After the phone calls this morning we headed out to start getting apartments ready for the changes next week. We’re trying hard to move missionaries in each area closer to the areas they work in. There will be some shuffling here in Yakima next week. We started today, moving beds and furniture from place to place to get ready.
We are so grateful for members who open their homes to many of our missionaries, and to Sister Thompson, our Housing Coordinator, who helps find apartments for the rest. We are also grateful for Elder and Sister McBean who help find and build furniture. Elder McBean has built dozens of bunk beds for our missionaries to sleep in when they’re in tight quarters.
Pictured above you’ll see furniture in our garage, a member home where 4 Elders have lived, soon to be 2 (with their tie collections), and one of the new places Sisters will move into next week.
