And here the fun begins!! This is the Yakima Transfer site where wonderful change is in the air! This morning early, the APs drove the first leg of the trip, down to Goldendale. A car from The Dalles met them there, bringing missionaries moving from there. They picked up Hna. Hull to take her back. Then they APs came here to the Yakima Stake Center, for this next big exchange. Everyone going or coming from the Yakima and Selah Zones met here to pick up and drop off missionaries and stuff.
From here, cars went out to different areas. The big van took a load to Ellensburg, where others met them to take them to various areas up north. Those coming down from up north came to Ellensburg, to be brought back to the mid and southern zones in the mission. The logistics of moving about 70 new missionaries in one day are pretty crazy.
By this evening, everyone will be tucked away in their new apartments and homes. The longest drive today is about 4-5 hours, with drop offs and pick ups along the way.
The pictures below give you a taste of the excitement in the air. All the rest of the pictures are posted in an album today on Facebook. Enjoy these beautiful faces!
