Yakima River Canyon

2016-7-16 Yakima River Canyon (2)We drove home from Ellensburg through the scenic Yakima River Canyon and saw HUNDREDS of people floating down the river on rafts and tubes.  It was a lazy Saturday afternoon for many.  The rafts and tubes were usually tied together into large conglomerations of people.  It was pretty fun to watch as we drove.  These few photos don’t show the crowds.  There aren’t many places to stop along the narrow road.  We had fun watching as we drove.2016-7-16 Yakima River Canyon (4)2016-7-16 Yakima River Canyon (5)2016-7-16 Yakima River Canyon (7)
