Zone Conference in Wenatchee

Today we met in Wenatchee for Zone Conference with 50 of our amazing missionaries from the Wenatchee and Omak Zones.  Missionaries arrive early for car inspections.  Brother and Sister Van de Venter and their good helpers spend the morning checking all the cars.It fun to watch the missionaries arrive and see mission friends and former companions.Our conference started at 9:00 and tried to follow this agenda:  (Of course we are always a bit behind!)Elders Call and Brassanini, our WE Zone Leaders conducted the conference.Singing “Called to Serve”Then President Lewis taught.We had excellent trainings from the Omak Zone Leaders, on maintaining positive attitudes.During the breaks, I love wandering around and looking at everyone’s Stuff.  I love to see that they are recording the impressions they receive and the things they are learning.We did some role plays:Here are a couple of the wonderful women who helped prepare our lunch today.  Oh my, it was Homemade enchiladas, rice and salad.  And then desserts of all kinds!The swap meet continued, with clothing and other missionary items coming and going.Singing thanks to the lunch helpers:Celebrating birthdays:Trainings continue:Elder and Sister Chamberlain, our Daily Dose Coordinators taught everyone about DD.At the end of the meeting, we hear the final testimonies of those who will be going home before our next zone conferences:And then the farewells and clean up begins:Here is the whole group!All the photos taken today will be posted in an album on our Washington Yakima Mission Facebook page.
