Today was a beautiful day in Yakima. Fall is here and the weather is turning. We settled in to enjoy watching General Conference. Fire in the fireplace, pot of soup on the stove, bread in the oven and plums in the dehydrator. Ahh, the fragrances of Fall!
When the APs came over between sessions, we ate and met and planned. We are either planning meetings or attending meetings. Next week we’ll have MLC here, then Doctrine of Christ and Trainer-Trainee Training here and in Quincy, then we go on the road for the next few weeks, interviewing.
It was nice to have a peaceful weekend with just a handful of visitors.Dropping by:
I used to take stitching with me everywhere I went. Now I pull something out twice a year to work on during Conference. Here is my perpetual Conference Project:The soup for today was a big pot of sausage lentil soup. I’ll be posting the recipe because you all will want it.
