Here are our Chelan Elders and what they loved and remembered about General Conference.

Elder Shoemaker and Elder Fullmer2016-10-11-chelan-brewster-omak-7Elder Shoemaker:  Don’t forget the principles of the gospel.  Remember what’s said now, you may need that counsel later.  (Sorry I was suffering from jet lag still.)

Elder Fullmer:  Pres. Monson:  Now is the time.  Look to the scriptures, don’t look past the mark.  Repentance, Faith and Service.  Notice patterns of repetition and pay attention to them–these topics are important!  Like the Proclamation on the Family is important to us now, these topics will be important in our future.

Elder Nielson and Elder Olivas2016-10-11-chelan-brewster-omak-9Elder Nielson:  I felt the love and care our General Authorities have for the church.  They are just trying to strengthen us and uplift us.  We must keep trying.  We all have this:  Be Happy!

Elder Olivas:  I loved conference.  Loved the focus on how to strengthen our faith.  Faith leads to everything.  Faith is the first part of the Doctrine of Christ.  It’s what we teach.  Have faith, then act on it.  Everyone needs it.  Faith is the foundation of everything.
