Christmas Eve Caroling

2016-12-24-zcaroling-2This evening President Lewis went out caroling with missionaries from 2 of our local Districts.  I stayed home working on a few projects for Christmas.  At about 9:00 p.m. the doorbell rang and this is what I saw–beautiful missionaries on a cold dark night, singing Silent Night.  It was breath-taking.  Of course I invited them in for a few minutes to warm up.  They sang another carol or two, and then I joined them to go visit our neighbors, the Smart family.2016-12-24-zcaroling-52016-12-24-zcaroling-9At the Smarts:2016-12-24-zcaroling-10What a treat for these missionaries to see a pretty perfect family, gathered to celebrate the night of Christ’s birth.2016-12-24-zcaroling-112016-12-24-zcaroling-122016-12-24-zcaroling-132016-12-24-zcaroling-14Peace on Earth, Good Will to All!2016-12-24-zcaroling-16What a beautiful night.  What a beautiful sight!2016-12-24-zcaroling-20
