The Relief Societies of Wenatchee provided relief and great food for our missionaries today. Baked spaghetti, salad, rolls and cookies. YUM. We are so grateful so many help and serve throughout this mission. You can see how the missionaries enjoy these meals:Here are some of our beloved “Lunch Ladies”The missionaries sang their thanks:Then we presented the birthday gifts for the January birthdays:After that fun, we continued learning. Elders Christensen and Leavitt taught a great training on how NOT to teach. It was pretty boring. Elder Call talked about record keeping and car safety. Then we had a great training by the APs on our new Standards of Excellence. Everyone is really excited about these. We are too.Elder Baker gave his parting testimony before the meeting ended. We will miss him. He is the LAST of the Kennewick missionaries to be serving here. From now on we are all Yakamites. Take down and farewellsAnd by 4:30 we were back on the road again. 2 hours back to Yakima. Most of that time, these Elders sang, hymn after hymn. Wow, that was fun. They are good.Back at the Mission Home, everyone packed a sack of food for dinner as they travel back to The Dalles and beyond. They have 2 more hours to go!
Tomorrow is a world-wide Missionary Broadcast, then Thursday we’ll travel down to The Dalles to finish this round of interviews. What a great week. One good thing after the other. Wish you all could be here with us!
