Moses Lake Soup Feast and Stake Conference

2017-2-4-moses-lake-stake-conf-2After the afternoon session, stake members came for the traditional soup feast.  This is really a remarkable event.  Women today in Moses Lake have been preparing their best soups, and they arrived by dozens at about 5:30 this evening.  Crock pots and soup pots, steaming and hot on this cold winter day!  Others brought homemade rolls and jams.  Every table had a pot of soup and rolls.  The hardest part of the evening was deciding with pot to sit by.  I think this stake should produce a Conference Soup Cookbook.2017-2-4-moses-lake-stake-conf-42017-2-4-moses-lake-stake-conf-32017-2-4-moses-lake-stake-conf-52017-2-4-moses-lake-stake-conf-62017-2-4-moses-lake-stake-conf-72017-2-4-moses-lake-stake-conf-82017-2-4-moses-lake-stake-conf-92017-2-4-moses-lake-stake-conf-102017-2-4-moses-lake-stake-conf-112017-2-4-moses-lake-stake-conf-122017-2-4-moses-lake-stake-conf-132017-2-4-moses-lake-stake-conf-142017-2-4-moses-lake-stake-conf-152017-2-4-moses-lake-stake-conf-162017-2-4-moses-lake-stake-conf-172017-2-4-moses-lake-stake-conf-182017-2-4-moses-lake-stake-conf-192017-2-4-moses-lake-stake-conf-20This is the Moses Lake Stake President Tolley and his wife with Pres Lewis.  2017-2-4-moses-lake-stake-conf-212017-2-4-moses-lake-stake-conf-22And after we’d eaten, within minutes, the tables were down and the chairs were turned, and we prepared to be spiritually fed.  What a wonderful evening!2017-2-4-moses-lake-stake-conf-232017-2-4-moses-lake-stake-conf-242017-2-4-moses-lake-stake-conf-25Here are a few of our missionaries after the evening session.2017-2-4-moses-lake-stake-conf-26
