Preparing for Stake Conference with Elder Uceda

2017-3-18 Ucedas, Tri-Cities (1)This morning we introduced Elder and Sister Uceda to President Hendricks, who is our Yakima Stake President.  Elder Uceda traveled with him to visit several families, and Pres Lewis and I took Hermana Uceda to the airport in Pasco so she could return to their family in Bountiful.2017-3-18 Ucedas, Tri-Cities (4)2017-3-18 Ucedas, Tri-Cities (7)After seeing her off, we went to find the famous Taco Truck our kids discovered in the Tri-Cities.  SADLY, it is closed on weekends.2017-3-18 Ucedas, Tri-Cities (9)2017-3-18 Ucedas, Tri-Cities (10)2017-3-18 Ucedas, Tri-Cities (11)2017-3-18 Ucedas, Tri-Cities (12)2017-3-18 Ucedas, Tri-Cities (13)2017-3-18 Ucedas, Tri-Cities (14)Then we made a stop at the Great Harvest Bread Co, and at the Deseret Book store in Richland before driving by the Columbia River Temple.  It’s closed right now for cleaning.  What a beautiful place.2017-3-18 Ucedas, Tri-Cities (15)2017-3-18 Ucedas, Tri-Cities (16)2017-3-18 Ucedas, Tri-Cities (17)We returned to Yakima (1.5 hr drive) in time to prepare for the afternoon session of Stake Conference.  Pres Lewis spoke.  I sat in the lobby and was really excited to see these missionaries coming to have a baptismal interview with Cheyenne.  Happy Day!2017-3-18 zzCheyene's Baptismal Interview (1)Elder Allen is the District Leader here, and he conducted the interview.  Elder Ranta and Elder Hoskins are the Yakima Zone Leaders.2017-3-18 zzCheyene's Baptismal Interview (2)Then we all were ready to attend the Saturday Evening Session of Stake Conference!2017-3-18 zzzYakima Stake Conf (1)
