Missionary Fireside in Chelan

2017-3-22 zFireside Chelan (1)We raced all the way back to Chelan to be there before the fireside was over.  The Elders did a fantastic job planning and organizing this wonderful event.  They had special speakers, video clips from the life of Christ, a special musical number by a couple of the Chelan youth, a photo booth and delicious refreshments.  About 20 non-members came! Everyone loved this evening focused on Jesus Christ, patience, forgiveness and service. The theme was TURN OUT, like Christ did.  Don’t focus on yourself–focus on others.2017-3-22 zFireside Chelan (2)2017-3-22 zFireside Chelan (3)The Elders and the Ward made #TURNOUT wrist bracelets for everyone attending.2017-3-22 zFireside Chelan (4)2017-3-22 zFireside Chelan (5)With the Chelan Bishop:2017-3-22 zFireside Chelan (6)Here’s the photo booth.  Everyone was encouraged to take a photo with their phone, then post it with thoughts about our Savior for their friends to see.2017-3-22 zFireside Chelan (7)2017-3-22 zFireside Chelan (9)The Fabulous Food Court with the Nelsons, Daily Dose missionaries:2017-3-22 zFireside Chelan (10)Visiting with old friends and new friends:2017-3-22 zFireside Chelan (12)2017-3-22 zFireside Chelan (13)2017-3-22 zFireside Chelan (14)2017-3-22 zFireside Chelan (16)2017-3-22 zFireside Chelan (18)2017-3-22 zFireside Chelan (19)2017-3-22 zFireside Chelan (20)2017-3-22 zFireside Chelan (21)2017-3-22 zFireside Chelan (22)2017-3-22 zFireside Chelan (23)What a great way to end our day!  Lots of good will come from this evening.  Well done, Elders!2017-3-22 zFireside Chelan (25)
