Transfer Planning Continues!

2017-4-20 Transfer Planning (2)Here we are, back at it, all day long–Transfer Planning.  It’s a little bit like moving your child into a new apartment at the end of a semester before the next one begins (with all new roommates he or she might not know yet) TIMES EIGHTY or so.  Not just that, but the new roommate/s must be the same gender, speak the same language, be a bit older or a bit younger (to teach them or be taught by them), they must have never lived in that apartment complex before, and it would be nice if their personalities are compatible.  Then when you move one, you bump one out, and the dominoes begin to fall, throughout the entire mission.  Get the picture?  That’s why we stare at the transfer board for 3 days, trying to get it right.  2017-4-20 Transfer Planning (3)For lunch today, I made a nice pot of chicken soup.  YUM.2017-4-20 Transfer Planning (4)The table is still full of fabric being cut.2017-4-20 Transfer Planning (5)2017-4-20 Transfer Planning (6)2017-4-20 Transfer Planning (9)2017-4-20 Transfer Planning (10)The strips are being sub-cut into squares for liners in the Days for Girls kits.  Each girl gets 8 liners (or pads).  Our next event here in Yakima is this Saturday.2017-4-20 Transfer Planning (11)Back at it after lunch.2017-4-20 Transfer Planning (14)Still at it tonight after the Elders left for their evening appointments.2017-4-20 Transfer Planning (15)
