A Thunder and Lightening Storm in Royal

IMG_5348When we get to stay in Royal, we’re not often there during the daylight hours.  Now that the sun is setting later in the day, we had a bit of daylight left and so Tyson Allred took us on a farm tour.  Crops are coming up and this is beautiful country.  The orchards are in bloom.  It smells like the best ever farm country around here.IMG_5349IMG_5350IMG_5352IMG_5354IMG_5355IMG_5357IMG_5359A storm was blowing in.IMG_5360We went to see a sprinkler line that had collapsed.  This is sad news.IMG_5363IMG_5365IMG_5368IMG_5370Back at the Allred’s, we watched the storm approaching.IMG_5372IMG_5373The cloud formations were fascinating.IMG_5377IMG_5378IMG_5379As it got darker, the thunder and lightening filled the skies.  It was a spectacular evening.IMG_5380
