All the missionaries in the southern half of the mission who are being transferred this week met at 1:00 at the Yakima Stake Center. It was close to 100 degrees out today! HOT. We gathered belongings, luggage, bedding, and missionary bodies and organized them into the right transport vehicles. It’s a wild and crazy logistical feat, but we all pulled another transfer off today.
Good members from The Dalles Zone brought missionaries up from there this morning and they will continue to their destinations, while their replacements head south to take their places. There are lots of hellos and goodbyes, and happy and sad emotions flowing freely on transfer day. The next transfer site is in Qunicy, where all the northerners will gather and then disperse to their new areas up north. Thanks to all helping transport all this precious cargo! Love to you all.
