Missionary Fireside in Quincy and a little DfG!

2017-6-11 zQuincy Dinner, Fireside (1)We were invited to have a fabulous dinner with the Erickson Family in Quincy before tonight’s fireside.  Brother Erickson is the Ward Mission Leader here.  He and his wife love to cook and we were grateful for that!  The 4 Quincy Elders joined us and we had a great meal before heading over to the church.2017-6-11 zQuincy Dinner, Fireside (2)2017-6-11 zQuincy Dinner, Fireside (3)2017-6-11 zQuincy Dinner, Fireside (6)The members and their friends in Quincy are salt of the earth people.  They taught me about onions and their other crops.  This is such beautiful farm land here.  And the field is also white for these good missionaries.

I was thrilled to meet the Days for Girls leaders here in Quincy.   I just happened to have some fabric in the back of our car, so I shared.   If you’d like to get involved with Days for Girls in Quincy,  you can contact Ann Downs at 509 750-5074 or Mandy Ottley at 509 760-1272.2017-6-11 zQuincy Dinner, Fireside (4)2017-6-11 zQuincy Dinner, Fireside (5)I love how light it stays until late at night here in Washington.  It’s light until almost 10:00 p.m.  Here is the Columbia River where we cross at Vantage:2017-6-11 zQuincy Dinner, Fireside (9)
