Sunday Afternoon at the Mission Home

IMG_9374As soon as we got home from up north, the APs came by to start planning for our Zone Conferences this month.  We’ll be gone again all of this week doing another batch of interviews in the Wenatchee and Omak Zones.  All the assignments for Zone Conferences need to go out tonight so everyone helping will have time to prepare.IMG_9376IMG_9381IMG_9382We are tired.  It feels like we are on a treadmill going uphill.  Always.  Today was Father’s Day.  This evening we celebrated with a simple delicious meal of those new potatoes picked in Royal in a cream sauce with peas, chicken and a German Chocolate Cake.  Father’s Day gift?  Yes.  Ties.  That’s about the only thing a missionary thinks of at gift time.  Ties.  Always Ties.

Happy Father’s Day to all of you out there looking in.
