About once every year or so we have a Super MLC, where all of the District Leaders are invited to join the Zone Leaders and Sister Training Leaders at our Mission Leadership Counsel. Today was the day!
Prep for this meeting starts way in advance. Here are the supplies that have been gathered to fill the supply orders. The APs came by last night to load them up and take them over to the church where we met today. They also set up the tables and chairs and the projection equipment to make sure everything would be in working order this morning.Arriving at the Yakima Englewood building this morning:
Yakima Valley is a big bowl of smoke these days. There are fires burning around us. The air quality is BAD. It’s good we were inside today.
Here are a few of the brand new companions of some of our District Leaders. They paired off with other missionaries for the day! Don’t they look great??
And here they all come!
The supplies are ready to go out to the zones:

More mail delivered:By about 4:00 we were finished. What a Great Day! These are such excellent missionaries and such dear friends. There is good energy here. These are such diligent, kind-hearted missionaries. Missions prepare missionaries for life. We watch it happening every day, but especially on days like today. These leaders will return home equipped to do great good in the world.
Loving mission technology!! Flip phones and portable DVD players!
Homemade, hand-stitched ties. Who would’ve guess they’d learn to sew too??
We have set a mission goal to be more urgent in the work, more quick to leave meetings and return to our areas. It’s hard because everyone loves being together. We are trying to stop the lingering longer when missionaries get together. #missionaffliction
Still smokey out there. Thanks, everyone, for a Great Day.
