Today in Othello we realized that tonight we were to be the guest speakers at a youth activity in Yakima, so we didn’t stay for the Stake Correlation Meeting there this evening. Instead, we raced back to Yakima (2 hours) in time for our part at 8:00 p.m. The kids had 4 different classes they rotated through, where they learned about different aspects of missionary work.
Our missionaries serving in this ward helped with one of the classes, as a Q&A panel. The Meadowbrook Ward has 50-60 kids in it and it looks like most of them showed up tonight to learn more about the fun we have as missionaries.
Elder and Sister Call taught one of the classes on being physically and spiritually prepared. After the classes, we met in the chapel and Pres Lewis and I got to speak to these bright beautiful kids. It was sweet. We loved being with them.
