We spent a couple of hours with Elder Whiting this afternoon here at the Mission Home. He is touring this Northwest Area, becoming acquainted with the temple district and the stakes here. We met Elder Whiting last month at our Mission Presidents’ Seminar in Seattle. It was great to see him again and show him around this place we love.
Elder Scott D. Whiting was sustained as a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on March 31, 2012. At the time of his call, he had been serving as a member of the Fifth Quorum of the Seventy in the North America West Area. He has served as the President of the Asia North Area and is currently serving at Church headquarters. He lives in Kaysville, Utah.
