At about 3:30 missionaries began to arrive back at the mission home. They were a little cold, but all smiles as they came in to warm themselves. We spent the next hour or so hearing about their first adventures and it was Fun! What a great group of missionaries. They had some wonderful and interesting experiences and most are already asking when they get to go out again!
Then the locals had to get back to work, back to their dinner appointments and their evening teaching appointments. They were a bit sad to leave their new friends. It’s amazing how quickly we all become a part of this big family and we love each other.
We had about 45 minutes before it was dinner time, so the missionaries worked on their arrival forms, rested, or played games in the basement.
Several had mail and packages from home and loved ones.
We are so grateful to be here, in this beautiful home, with these good missionaries, who quickly feel like family to us. Yesterday morning we sent all of our kids and our grandson off and today we welcomed 10 more to our mission family. My heart seems to stay filled, no matter what.
