Interviews Begin in Ellensburg on a Snowy Day

Today the next round of interviews began.  We headed north to Ellensburg, leaving icy rain in Yakima for snow in the Ellensburg valley.  We’ve been waiting for winter here.  Maybe it’s finally coming!2018-1-11 Interviews Ellensburg (1)Church parking lot:2018-1-11 Interviews Ellensburg (2)These good Elders met us as we got started.  My question for everyone this time is “What are two of your New Year’s Resolutions?”2018-1-11 Interviews Ellensburg (3)

Elder Hamblin and Elder Leonard, serving in the Ellensburg 3rd Ward2018-1-11 Interviews Ellensburg (5)Elder Hamblin:  work out every day–effectively and eat better.  Finish the New Testament, D&C and start the Old Testament.

Elder Leonard: Be more responsive to the Spirit.  Develop a more sober mind-set.

Elder Thompson and Elder Olson, serving in the Ellensburg 2nd Ward2018-1-11 Interviews Ellensburg (7)Elder Thompson:  Open my mouth more in 2018.  Maintain a good physique for this year.

Sister Cannell:  Help and serve my companion.  Become more acquainted with teaching the lessons.
