Transfer Planning Day #3, Elder Powell Departing Interview

2018-2-9 Transfer Planning (1)At 10:00 this morning we were back at it.  If you are not familiar with the transfer process, here’s a rundown of how it happens:

2018-2-9 Transfer Planning (2)2018-2-9 Transfer Planning (3)At 11:00 Elder Donakey and Elder Powell came for Elder Powell’s final interview with Pres Lewis.  It’s always a treat for Pres Lewis to have time to sit with his missionaries.  And it’s always a treat for me to visit with their companions.2018-2-9 Transfer Planning (5)2018-2-9 Transfer Planning (6)2018-2-9 Transfer Planning (7)After a nice long interview, we had lunch together.  Meatloaf and potatoes, broccoli and salad and then some ice cream.  Comfort food.  Yum.2018-2-9 Transfer Planning (8)2018-2-9 Transfer Planning (9)2018-2-9 Transfer Planning (10)2018-2-9 Transfer Planning (11)2018-2-9 Transfer Planning (12)2018-2-9 Transfer Planning (13)Then we went back to work for the rest of the afternoon.2018-2-9 Transfer Planning (14)2018-2-9 Transfer Planning (15)2018-2-9 Transfer Planning (16)Sometimes Pres Lewis has to take a phone call.  I escape up to my computer and sometimes the APs follow me.  Today they took a little break.2018-2-9 Transfer Planning (17)2018-2-9 Transfer Planning (18)This evening after all was done, Pres Lewis read letters and I cut a little fabric.  It’s nice to have an evening at home every now and again.  The Winter Olympics Opening Ceremonies was on this evening.  2018-2-9 Transfer Planning (29)
