Arriving Group February 2018!

There they go, then Here they come!!  What a great group arrived today on the tails of those leaving.  We received 9 from the Provo MTC (along with the 3 who arrived from Mexico last night).  We are so thrilled they have come.Let’s get on with it!!The Mission Home is about 10 minutes from the Yakima Air Terminal.  When we arrived, Elder Glancy and his parents were there waiting for us.  We are so glad to have our complete group here now, in the Mission Home!Welcome home, Elders!Arrival forms:As we got settled, local missionaries began to arrive.  They were here to join us for lunch, then they took our new missionaries out for the afternoon.  The missionaries call this “Fear Busting.”  They go dive into the work, knocking on doors, teaching, visiting–whatever the locals have planned for the day.  We had a taco bar for lunch.Welcome to Washington apples!The Hermanas returned to us too.Elder Glancy said goodbye to his parents.Elder Berrett found his family!After lunch and taking all the transfer board photos and photos to send home to each missionary’s family, they all headed out the door for the afternoon.  The rest of us went to work processing the photos and preparing for the next part of this first day.  I started posting photos of yesterday.  We are busy here.  We are all tired–but oh, so happy.
