Interviews in Omak

2018-2-28 Chelan, Brewster, Omak (29)After Chelan and Brewster, we drove on to Omak for the rest of the day.  It’s been a cold day, with rain and sleet off and on.  It was great to be inside, warm with these good Elders.

Elder Christianson and Elder Eliason, serving in Coulee Dam2018-2-28 Chelan, Brewster, Omak (32)Elder Christiansen:  Forget yourself and go to work.  Whatever happens, move on.  Be patient with yourself.

Elder Eliason:  Work hard.  Be obedient.  Have fun.

Elder Clark and Elder Holley, serving in Oroville2018-2-28 Chelan, Brewster, Omak (34)Elder Clark:  Bear testimony.  Don’t fall asleep during studies.  Pray for charity.

Elder Holley:  Stay busy.  Make mistakes–you have to try, improve and get better.  Enjoy it.2018-2-28 Chelan, Brewster, Omak (37)2018-2-28 Chelan, Brewster, Omak (39)

Elder Redford and Elder Lucio, serving in Omak2018-2-28 Chelan, Brewster, Omak (40)Elder Redford:  Never, ever, dwell on the past–especially the bad.  Be willing to try new things like food or talking to people.  Pray!

Elder Lucio:  Be patient with yourself, take things one step at a time.  Look outward, not inward (always look for ways to serve others).  Work hard, pray harder (lose yourself in the work).

Elder Bergman and Elder Bonny, Zone Leaders serving in Okanogan2018-2-28 Chelan, Brewster, Omak (44)Elder Bergman:  Don’t get bed bugs.  Take care of your feet, get good socks.  My favorites or Nike Basketball socks.  Take care of your scriptures!

Elder Bonny:  You won’t learn everything at once, so  don’t try to.  Now in the time to change.  Don’t let the old you hold you.  Don’t forget to have fun.  Cherish every moment and find joy in the journey.2018-2-28 Chelan, Brewster, Omak (45)Elder Lommasson and his wife are some of our wonderful local housing coordinators.  He repaired and cleaned 3 vacuums and brought them to us to deliver to the missionaries who need them.  We love the Lommassons.  Sis Lommasson handed me a bag of delicious dried apples for our road trips.  YUM!!2018-2-28 Chelan, Brewster, Omak (48)We drove back to Wenatchee tonight through some sleet and that was trying to turn to snow.  We stopped along the way in Brewster and by Chelan to deliver a few things to the Elders there.  Home to the hotel by 10:00 or so.
