We are having a Great Day here at the Mission Home! At 1:00 we broke for lunch. Today we served sweet and sour meatballs over brown or white rice, broccoli, fruit salad and green salad. For dessert we had a chocolate chip cake. It was delicious. Watch for the recipes!
Ladies always go first!

Birthday cake for Elder Walker!
They ate it ALL!!
After lunch we headed back downstairs, where we went back to work. Here are our companionships:
Next came Regulating the Mission by Pres Lewis. He talked about things needing attention like schedules, inviting investigators to the ward and stake Self Reliance classes, Morning sports (exercise) and how that’s being managed in each zone, and the Melchizedek Priesthood activation initiative in our ward and stakes. This is a time when Pres Lewis addresses policies, procedures and questions from these mission leaders.
Next we had zone discussions about the upcoming Zone Conferences. These leaders will be conducting the trainings we received today with the rest of the mission. They planned who would do what.
Then we prepared for setting our mission goals. Something Really Big happened today. We changed the direction of our mission goal. We decided that instead of setting a mission goal here, we are going to let each district carefully select their monthly goal, than we will add all their goals to make our mission goal. Instead of setting a goal for May today, we will let the districts discuss and present their goals. It’s a huge shift. We are all pretty excited about it. There will be more individual ownership this way. I think some really good things are going to happen!
Final testimonies from Elder Ence, Elder Gaeta and Hermana Lin. Sorry my camera doesn’t zoom in very well.
Closing remarks by Pres Lewis. He and I are starting to feel the looming black cloud of our departure in a few months. We cannot imagine leaving this place or these missionaries.

Visits with Pres Lewis:
Will it all fit?
What an outstanding excellent day. These are some of the finest young men and women on the planet. Our future is in such good hands. We love them all.
