Interviews with the Assistants

This afternoon Elder Anderson had his departing interview.  We are all living in denial here.  We’re acting like it’s “just another day in paradise.”  But deep inside, we know it’s not.  We will each come to the end of our time here, one day or another.  This isn’t easy.

Elder Veropalumbo and Elder Nathan Anderson, Assistants to the President, serving in the Yakima 3rd Ward2018-6-15 Transfer Planning Day 3 (10)Elder Veropalumbo:  I would like to be remembered as always positive and happy, as always full of faith in God and miracles, and for helping and motivating missionaries to reach their goals.

Elder Anderson:  I’d like people to remember me as someone who believes in Jesus Christ, as someone who loved life and the people around me, and as a friend.
