A Visit to Naches and Tieton

We attended church today in Naches, about 20-25 minutes from Yakima, where Elders Ranta and Cicon are serving.  The meetings were wonderful.  We really love the members there.  Here’s a look at their chapel:In the picture below of Naches, you can see the LDS meeting house with the red roof with the steeple at the top just right of the center.  The large building to the left of the church is the Naches high school.This area has so many beautiful valleys surrounded by orchards and farmland. We drove through the small town of Tieton on our way home.  Here is the City Hall and the library:Main Street across from Tieton City Park:We found several huge fruit packing companies in Tieton, and thousands of fruit bins.We are all starting to get spring fever as we anticipate all the orchards being pruned as we await the blossom season.  It’s going to be beautiful here!
