Today was our monthly MLC meeting here at the Mission Home. All the Zone Leaders and Sister Training Leaders (ZLs and STLs) from the whole mission came. We met from 10:00 until 4:30. We welcomed new leaders: Hermana Steuling, Hermana Luevano, Elder Mendoza, Elder Call, Elder Myers and Elder Wilson.
Today’s topics included follow-up discussions on weekly and daily planning, by Elder Carter and Elder Krogue, followed by a discussion by Pres. Lewis on Searching for Searchers, Urgency, Attitude, and using Family History and the new Easter Initiative. I led a discussion on Improving our Time (see Alma 34:32-33; D&C 72:3-4).
Then we took the group photo followed by breakfast for lunch–egg casserole, bacon, waffles, and toppings. Yum.
After lunch we did Mission Business and went over things like policies, questions, instruction about car safety, medical co-pays, p-day injuries, member dinners, etc. Then we set our mission goals for March and April and we ended the day with some more training and really fun group role plays, led by Elder Rosenkrantz and Elder Barbour.
