This morning at 8:00 everyone here tuned in to listen to the world-wide announcement about our new Prophet, Russell M. Nelson, and his new First Presidency: President Oaks, 1st Counselor and President Eyring, 2nd Counselor.
It was thrilling to listen to these Brethren and watch the change as we move forward into this new year. I felt peace and calm and joy, and I join with our missionaries in supporting these Brethren full-heartedly.
Afterwards, the First Presidency held a press conference and answered questions from the media. It feels good to be a part of this world-wide church, directed by Jesus Christ through these good men.
