Here we are–the Mission Leadership Council! These are excellent missionaries and friends. We meet monthly at the Mission Home for a day of training and instruction. These are our Zone Leaders and Sister Training Leaders who help shepherd all the missionaries throughout the mission.

I’m always impressed with the notes everyone takes. I love seeing them capturing the things they learn and feel on paper. What a blessing to the world these young men and young women will be! They are learning to live Christ-centered lives, and learning to share joy with others. Really, it’s a remarkable thing to watch.
Had a great lunch–I made some of my favorite soups, served with cornbread, french bread, grapes, apple juice, and brownies and ice cream for dessert.

At the end of the day, we distributed the new Newsletter! I’m learning how to use Publisher and it’s really fun. 
This week 15 more mattresses were delivered to the Mission Home, bringing our total to 26! We are ready for our next arriving group!

It’s always a bit sad for me to send them off again. I wish they could all stay for conference weekend. There is excitement in the air. We are all looking forward to hearing from the Brethren and learning about who might fill the 3 vacancies in the Quorum of the Twelve. I hope you all have a wonderful conference weekend!
