Here’s how the Packard family prepared this ham that beats all ham. The missionaries LOVED it!
Buy the Butt Portion with the bone in.
Place the ham in a pan or crock pot and fill it about half way with water.
Cook the ham (not frozen) for about 5 hours at 350.
Remove bone and any fat, shred/pull the meat.
Cover the meat with the juices to keep it juicy until ready to serve.
A 10 lb. ham (at $1.60/lb.) will feed 20-25 big eaters.
